Mission and Vision Statment

Bridgeport Community Church is a Biblically Based, Prayer Centric, Loving, and Giving group of believers who are on a very important mission. We have set ourselves as a light upon the hill for a hurt and broken multi-generational, multi-ethnic world that only wants to feel safe and loved again. Through our mission we seek to do several things. We not only want to worship Him in Sunday service, but in every day of our lives and in everything that we do. We seek to bring people to know Jesus. We don’t want them to just know of Him but to know Him personally and to have a relationship with Him. We seek to bring the community together. As a gathering point for the community while fostering a community of Peace and Hope through Christ, we are looking to bring our community to a place of focus in and for Jesus Christ. This mission will go forward under our vision. We will Connect with everyone we encounter. When we connect we will tell them of our Lord Jesus Christ and invite them to join us. We will Praise our Triune Almighty God in services, in life, and through the examples of our lives. As we are taught to in the Great Commission, we actively pursue the work of not just introducing everyone to Jesus but, by the grace of God, we will Make Disciples that will seek His Kingdom first.

Guiding Verse
"That They may All be One"

John 17:20-21 “‘I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
